Love to Hear You Speak
I haven’t thought of it but it’s a very practical reminder.
There is an article "First Active, Later Passive" in "The Kingdom of God" magazine, which talks about the waiting after adult children leave home.
Since their children left home, they have been busy with their daily schedule and rarely come home. As mentioned in the article, I often lament in my heart that they don’t come home often. This article gave me a kick in the butt, and instead of waiting at home for them to finally have time to come home, I can visit my kids.
The article talks about going to visit and bring the feeling of "home" to them who are working hard for their lives, but not to trouble or disturb them. This is something I have never thought about in the past, but I can do it. So, I can plan to visit my kids now. Thank you "Kingdom of God" magazine for publishing topical and practical articles.

A memorable testimony
I have read many issues of "Kingdom of God" magazine, and there are many articles and reports that have given me a lot of reminders and new ideas. One of them is "Walking on the Red Carpet in Nepal". Although it was written in 2016, it is still vivid in my memory.
Christian parents hope that their children will love the Lord, but when they have to choose missionary work, we as parents are very torn, hoping that they can choose "ordinary" or "high-paying" jobs. Letting go is difficult, but God teaches parents to obey through their children's choices and His will.
Although the topic of this article is missionary work in Nepal, I also read about the establishment of a parent-child relationship. Thanks to Kingdom of God magazine for publishing various articles discussing relationships, I have benefited a lot from it.

Illustration of community service
In the article "When the Church and the Community Join Hands" in the neighborhood section of issue 71 of your magazine, you mentioned that the church has become an "oasis" for the community. I also wanted to respond to the "oasis" about where I live.
Northeast Philadelphia is a city where many new immigrants and Chinese people from the New York metropolitan area choose to move. There are many families in this area who need help applying for government subsidies, and there are also many school-age children and teenagers who need care or academic tutoring. Naturalization English courses, translations, and services such as child care subsidies, food banks, medical subsidies, and medical visits are also needed. The Jiao Sheng Center is a Christian institution that has been serving the Chinese compatriots in Northeast Philadelphia!
My husband and I are co-workers at the Jiaosheng Center and have been tutoring and teaching piano for 8 years. In the past 16 years, the Philadelphia Horn Center has served 58,000 people in the Northeast District Center and has a good reputation in the community. Except for a nominal fee for piano lessons and academic tutoring, other clerical and errand services are free. Currently there are two full-time co-workers, and the rest are all supported by volunteers. The source of funding is the donations from local churches and co-workers. Although there is a shortage of funds, we continue to work for the Lord in the spirit of "claiming the sheep outside the fold." We work closely with the local Min'en Church and the Northeast Church of the Chinese Christian Church.
Get close to the community through service projects. Although you do not directly preach the gospel, you indirectly bring people to participate in special events and fellowships at the church!
