May the turning point come to you too!
At the time of writing this article, the KRC Cultural Practice Camp held in Pennsylvania from July 11 to 23 had just concluded. As in the past fourteen years, we have seen that many people’s lives, lives, and services have been transformed by God himself, which makes us excited and full of joy. At the same time, we also look forward to the Father’s help through the upcoming events from September 28th to 30th. The cultural practice camp held in Taiwan once again brought about the power of change and renewal.
The overall theme of this year’s KRC camp is: “Turning Points of Life.” Pastor Su Wen'an, who shared my sentiments and came up with this theme, repeatedly emphasized in nine "Morning Focus Time" sessions in three consecutive phases: The turning point in life does not necessarily occur when "there is peace in the heart" and "confirmation in the environment." On the contrary, God often uses uncontrollable and unexpected circumstances in our lives to bring about turning points, because truly epoch-making and impactful ministries are rarely accepted with ease and joy. The calling experiences of faith leaders such as Moses, Elisha, Jeremiah, and Abraham are the best examples. The key is whether we are willing to trust and obey completely.
This is exactly the life lesson that God has asked me to practice in these few years. I resigned from my original position as a senior executive in a large American company and devoted my time to promoting KRC’s ministry in the United States and Asia. Especially the latter, I have been facing extremely severe physical, mental, spiritual and financial challenges, and the effectiveness of the ministry It seems far out of proportion to what was paid. This was a new life situation for me—from being able to freely fund ministries and supporting others to having to raise funds for myself and for ministries, the adjustment I had to make was extremely difficult. In addition, my father has been ill for a long time and is constantly in and out of the hospital. It can be said that my family and I are often in a state of mental and physical exhaustion.
However, in this situation, a group of faithful prayer co-workers continued to support me; and the people I pastored and served often called me suddenly when I was at my lowest point to tell me the wonders of God in them. as. —All of this made me clearly see, yes, I can’t and I’m not worthy, but God can and God is worthy!
One of the visions of "Kingdom Resources for Christ Association" is to lead people to experience God's greatest and deepest love through various means. Timothy Keller, a well-known American preacher, pointed out in his book The Prodigal God (tentative translation: The Prodigal God) that God will sacrifice everything just for us to be His sons, to be of the same mind with Him, and to be close to Him. At the end of the story of "The Prodigal Son", the younger son is at home, while the older son, who is self-righteous and complacent, stays outside. How helpless and sad! I don’t want to be the eldest son, I want to draw on and enjoy the unconditional and abundant love of God the Father. This is the turning point of my life, what about you? I look forward to the masterpiece of this cultural unit where Pastor Yin Ying talks about how to not follow others and be considerate of the flesh.A cry that echoes across heaven and earth. Teacher He Tan Ni deeply analyzes the scars of modern Chinese society and culture., as well as many works and reports in other units with comprehensive breadth and depth, which can also bring turning points in your life, life and ministry.
