With the Lord, everything is possible!
"With the Lord, everything is possible!" - This was the most unforgettable feeling I had during the few days I stayed in Taiwan in April this year. It has been many days since I returned to the United States. I dream about it at midnight, and I still laugh out loud about it!
The first is the wedding of my spiritual daughter Li Yingfang. Her family was poor and her father died young. However, with the full support and unconditional love of the church and the KRC family, she held a beautiful and touching holy ceremony. Everyone present (including the unbelievers of the two newcomers) It witnessed how Jesus Christ made Ying Fang’s life, which was originally as ordinary as clear water, become as fragrant and moving as fine wine, just like what he did at the wedding banquet in Cana.
At the KRC Taiwan Alumni Association and Board of Trustees meeting held immediately after Ying Fang’s wedding, I was filled with gratitude and surprise to hear how my classmates and co-workers had received the vision of “Kingdom Resources for Christ” in the workplace and in missionary work. In connection with the ministry, we are stirred up, promoted, and expanded by God!
Looking at the faces filled with laughter and tears due to joy and shock, I couldn’t help but think that every KRC camp and every issue of KRC magazine would not invite people to enjoy the abundant grace of the Lord and experience life like this. The miracle of turning water into wine?
This issue is another "big cake wrapped in small cake", an extra surprise with lots of ingredients and delicious taste! In addition to the masterpieces in the main issue (big cake) such as talents, outreach, culture, relationships, and community that are as impressive as ever, there is also a "Caring for Global Indigenous Peoples Album" (small cake). Micah 6:8 says, “O man, what does the LORD require of you, since he has shown you what is good? But to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”— "Compassion" is not just "having sympathy", but being able to take actions of love; "humility" is trusting and obeying, being a faithful and knowledgeable steward of the Lord according to His will, and being responsible for the mistakes made by oneself and the group to which he belongs. , reflect carefully, regret and change. This series of masterpieces is produced by the team of this magazine with great enthusiasm and commitment, and with a comprehensive world view and missionary outlook, interviewing, writing, inviting manuscripts, and editing. Its core purpose is to travel through the present and past, and across the globe, with a dimension and vision. There is only one—I sincerely invite you, dear readers, to come together to see what the Lord sees, what the Lord says, and what the Lord does.
We are particularly excited that three Taiwanese aborigines have joined the ranks of writing reports this time, providing us with an "original" perspective.
Whether it is the official publication or the aboriginal album, we hope that you will feel the call and inspiration of forward-looking, breakthrough, challenging, inspiring, knowledgeable, and actionable power, and you will sit and think, kneel and pray, and stand up. OK!
As I write this, I remember that this is the 32nd issue. Counting four issues published in a year, "Kingdom of God" magazine is already eight years old! I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to our team members who have devoted all their efforts and dedicate their best to the world since the publication was launched in May 2005. I am also grateful to our team members for supporting us with their spiritual and financial resources to challenge the 10,000 taels per issue in the midst of the recession. Thousand-dollar funding for the broad readership. May we continue to experience the wonders and good things God has done together, and the glory in the end will be greater than the first.
