Kingdom Communication

Different because of the Lord and because of you and me!

This year (2015), the Kingdom of God Camp will enter its sixteenth year, and the Kingdom of God Magazine will also expire ten years ago and enter its eleventh year.

We don’t have any grand celebrations. From the beginning to now, year after year, the volunteer team, editorial team, old and new alumni gather together warmly, and engage in serious and focused learning, sharing and communication. What makes me most grateful is that the co-workers and speakers have been committed to the cultural vision of the Kingdom of God since they joined the team and have been loyal throughout their lives.

Growing up in a Christian family that has been blessed for more than 150 years, what we see is God’s unchanging faithfulness, everlasting love, and continuous work. Therefore, I witnessed the faithful service of each generation in my family, inheriting and continuing the work of our ancestors, receiving new visions, and innovating methods and strategies. Then witness the expansion of God’s kingdom, the establishment of God’s people, justice being upheld wherever God’s children are, society being graced, the value system being changed, and the people being blessed. As these people worked tirelessly in faith, they could not foresee what would happen a hundred years later. Likewise, we today cannot imagine what the Kingdom of God will become when we are no longer here. Of course, a well-founded belief will definitely affect culture and the entire value system. However, this requires years of hard work to promote change.

When I previewed this issue of the magazine, I was deeply touched...

The story of Pastor Xu and his son in the relationship unit goes from being a strict father and a prodigal son to a loving father and loving son. From the son saying, "This is the way of upbringing that people of their generation accepted," to the father saying, "I let go, but I didn't give up!" We see that parents can really break away from the parenting methods passed down from the previous generation in the love of God, and allow the love of God the Father to change the father and attract the son.

In the article "Plowing Deeply in Beautiful Places" in the cultural unit, a Chinese female pastor who was born in the United States, graduated from Yale University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and pastors an African-American church in New York, shares how the black church has worked hard amidst the long-term suffering and discrimination. Live a testimony and uphold justice. Pastor Mei said: "When building the kingdom of God, what proportion of the church is involved in this type of salvation ministry? How does it view organized evil?" I had tears in my eyes when I read this! Doesn’t God’s word constantly remind us that what He wants is not sacrifice, but “to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God”?

In the talent section, Elder Lin Yuanshang's management column has been published for the second time, but the name of the column has not yet been decided. During the discussion through emails, he said some thought-provoking words: "As long as we follow God's principles, Management should be easy and you can live happily, so from the next issue, we can call this column "Learn Management Easily" That's right! With God’s principles and God’s methods, whether it is church ministry or career, there will be rewards from God.

The ministry report of the "Pilgrim House" in Spain in the outreach unit and the ancestor-reverence concepts and strategies of Taiwanese Christians in the community unit allow us to see how the gospel brings new ways of life in culture and then affects society. , update culture.

Did you see it? Every author, interviewee, and editor of "Kingdom of God" is humble and committed, carefully examines, discerns and examines the truth, based on the seven principles of "forward-looking, breakthrough, challenge, practical, knowledge, inspiration, and action" for ten years. , carefully produced thirty-nine issues of the magazine so far. We earnestly pray that through all these efforts and working together with the Holy Spirit, Chinese Christians and churches will be released from the bondage and shackles of traditional secular culture, and their minds will be renewed and transformed.

We firmly believe that the gospel is not only the good news of personal salvation and blessing, but also the church’s testimony and influence in driving society and the country to act righteously and love mercy. The Spring Cultural Seminar in March this year [see pages 7-8 for details] is also about carefully understanding and humbly learning about the Millennial Generation, so that the elite soldiers of the Kingdom of God from the new and old generations can work together to introduce the Kingdom of Heaven to this world. culture.

Looking forward to seeing you happily in Pennsylvania.
