a writing textbook

Kingdom of God Magazine is an interesting magazine. The text and pictures are carefully arranged, making it enjoyable to read. The content includes exclusive interviews, new information, and spiritual teachings, from which people can benefit a lot. The editor-in-chief is Pastor Su Wen'an, the tutor of the Chinese Literature Camp. He teaches us how to write, how to interview, and how to edit. To me, this is an extension of Teacher Su’s textbook and a textbook for people who want to learn writing.

Trust God and achieve great results

The interview with female entrepreneur Wang Lina in the 41st issue of "Kingdom of God" magazine was touching: "Move forward with faith and never give up." Ms. Wang was still pregnant when her husband passed away unexpectedly. She knew nothing about the gas station business that her husband had run during his lifetime. However, at the lowest point, she quit her university job and took over her husband's business. She worked hard to study and manage the business and made the business prosperous; and Invest in other causes and be enthusiastic about public welfare, and finally achieve a career and impact the community. Her experience of hard work, lifelong learning, trusting God, and achieving great results is very inspiring!

I really wish this was reported back then

Accompanying a loved one through the last journey of life is a hard but blessing thing. The special report on "Accompanying a Beloved on the Last Journey of Life" in the 42nd issue of "Kingdom of God" gave me many memories and reminders. I would like to thank the colleagues of your publication for reporting such an important issue sincerely and conscientiously. When I was young, I was at a loss as I watched my father approach the final stages of his illness and didn’t know how to cherish the last time I spent with him. I wish I had this report to teach me. Although I had the opportunity to take care of my grandmother again after my father passed away, and I did not do a perfect job, I am deeply grateful to God for giving me another chance. At this time, I would also like to pray for those brothers and sisters who are accompanying their loved ones. May God grant power, comfort, peace and grace in every moment of companionship.

Peaceful Care - Loving Care

After reading the special topic "Accompanying your beloved on the last journey of life," my heart has been completely attracted by this kind of love. When reading, I always recall the scenes before some people died. Although they were cared for, they had lost their dignity. I remember a ninety-year-old godfather who was almost completely unable to move. He could only sit or lie on the bed every day, and he had to use a crutch to get up when he went to the toilet. He was very lonely and no one came to talk to him because he always smelled bad. I remember that every time I went to see him, he would say that his life was actually over, and now he was just waiting to die, living one day at a time. There is no hope left.

In fact, most immobile elderly people are in this situation. People treat them completely according to the secular value orientation: if you are useful, life has value; if you are useless, the value will be gone.

There is also a beloved old man beside me who is taking the last step of his life. I couldn’t help but wonder, how do I give them the peaceful care mentioned in the article? My beloved grandma, I really hope she can have such care, and I really hope she can know the true God. But if I really want to do it now, I may have to pay a heavy price, and I also have to make a comprehensive arrangement and plan to do it with my family. Now this idea is getting stronger and stronger in my mind. I am preparing to take her to my home. I will try to do the following things using the ideas mentioned in the article. Hope would bring Grandma to the arms of Jesus.

The long river of faith does not flow out of thin air

The special episode of "Leading Parents to Believe in Christ" and the history of the Gao Lili family's faith not only depicts the face of Taiwanese society in the 19th century in detail, but also allows us future generations to know the price that missionaries paid for the gospel at that time. The attached old photos are very precious, and together with what I saw when I went to the Tamsui Parsonage, they reminded me of everything the missionaries put out.

May these testimonies inspire us

The forty-first issue of "Female Entrepreneurs Who Don't Bow to the Environment" is an interview with my friend Wang Lina (pseudonym). Li Na has carried the cross her whole life and faced many blows that ordinary people cannot bear! Although she didn’t understand God’s work in her, she relied on God in adversity and lived a brilliant life! She always encourages people, helps people, and brings joy to people! She is really a living role model for many single mothers and women who are dissatisfied with their lives! It also reminded me of what the Lord Jesus said: “If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

"The Running River of Family Faith" records Dr. James Ma's experience in entering Taiwan to carry out the gospel. He was the first person to bring the gospel to Taiwan. 150 years later, this article was written by a descendant of the first person he brought to Christianity in Taiwan. It is truly a wonderful testimony! This also reminds me of Hudson Taylor, Morrison, Seng Yen and many early foreign missionaries. They left their lovely hometown and went to China and devoted their lives to this foreign land. Like a grain of wheat that dies, but the end result is Many beautiful grains have been produced... Seeing their contribution to the gospel in China, what excuse do we have for not dedicating ourselves to the kingdom of God?

May these testimonies inspire us to make 2016 a year in which we bear good fruit for God!

Like KRC editors and authors

Recently, I have seen that KRC has many new editors and writers. They are all so professional and write such articles that are honoring God, beneficial to people, informative, and edifying. I am happy for the KRC team. Although I cannot name every editor and author one by one, you are always in my prayers, and may God bless you.

There is a free lunch

"Is there such a thing as a free lunch?"
"Yes, and it's a big meal."
"Where?"
"If you read this Kingdom of God magazine, you can subscribe for free!"
"How is it possible? Each issue contains inspirational stories, interviews with figures, analysis of the current situation, cultural in-depth study, family parenting, truth thinking... and the writers are all chosen at the moment, professional elites, with such high gold content, and they are free. "Provide, how can this be done?" "Because this is a magazine created by God!"
