From that time on, I began to study asthma in infants and young children, learn how to treat it, listened to speeches of all sizes, and read various books on asthma. Now, although I am a doctor in the Department of Infectious Diseases, about half of the patients who come to my clinic are asthmatic patients, which is asthma manifested by long-term chronic cough. In the words of the Bible, it can be said that “all things work together for good to those who love God.” I didn't expect that my family's illness would turn me into an expert in this field, good at diagnosing such patients and treating them, so that the patient's cough would get better. I am also very grateful to God for giving me this grace. Through the illness and suffering of my family, I have been able to learn and gain the gift of helping others.

Four tips to dispel myths when your child has a fever

1. "When I was young in high school, I wanted to find the purpose of life, and what was the meaning of my existence? Although I also went to church at the time, most of the time I just wanted to make friends. I still had no answer for life, and no true faith.

Later, when I entered college, I decided to join a Christian fellowship and see what they were up to. Once, the fellowship went to the Dawn Club to help organize a meeting between drug addicts and their families. What impressed me deeply was the experience of praying together before going on stage.

That prayer gave me a great understanding. Those people in the audience that day, no matter what they are, especially those who are drug addicts, may be more lost than me. The mistakes they made are unparalleled. Their life situation is such that they are in society. On the edge, it may even be that their father doesn’t love them, their mother doesn’t love them, and no one loves them. But even so, God still moved a group of people from the Dawn Club, including our small contribution that day, to perform a party for them.

God has allowed so many people to love these people, to take care of them, and to watch their struggles. Some may have quit drugs, contracted drugs again, and repented again... Even so, Morningside still patiently accompanies this group of people. . Such a love from God seems to have awakened me to the meaning of life. We no longer live for our own interests, our own fame, our own perfectionism, but we should feel that God's purpose in creating this world from the beginning is love. If God can use this love to love someone who uses drugs, there’s no reason why God can’t use this love to love me. Of course, God also wants me to love more people with this love that comes from heaven.

In a way, I feel like God answered my questions in high school. When I was in high school, I felt that the future was an "endless" life. After I was admitted to Jiangsu High School, I had to take the medical school entrance examination, choose a good subject, and seek a good marriage. Then I worried about whether my children would do well in their studies... …What’s the point of pursuing this endlessly? When a person dies and the coffin is closed, isn’t the so-called wonderful life gone? Isn't this blind? Or as some theories say, life is a farce.

However, the experience I had at Dawn Meeting that day made me realize that God’s love gives life a new meaning: we are loved by God and then share this love with others. The Bible says that those who believe in the Lord have eternal life, so this love can be taken to heaven, so that people’s lives will have meaning. After much thought, in the second semester of my freshman year, I decided to be baptized into the name of the Lord. "
