Inspiration during the epidemic

Picture/Zhou Lanhui

During the epidemic, we are staying at home to prevent the epidemic, and there is no way to go to the studio to create. There is always something to do at home, so I changed the media type and did some handicrafts to express my feelings about epidemic prevention through creation.

Topic: Coronavirus?

Inspired by coronavirus. The largest bulge on the roof represents Jesus, and the other 12 bulges surrounding it represent the 12 disciples. Even though this may seem like a dark time, the Creator of heaven and earth still sits as King and is with us! Let us experience the true peace that comes from God together.

Title: Ark—Ark

The Ark is mentioned three times in the Bible. One is the basket made of cattails where little Moses lay, the other is Noah's Ark, and the third is the Ark of the Covenant. The hat represents the basket containing little Moses (with the hairy protrusions symbolizing the bulrushes) which turned over is the ark in the flood. Two hats in one! At this moment, even if the waves outside are turbulent, having God with us is like being safe in Ark!

Title: Rainbow and Peaceful River

Genesis Chapter 9 Verse 13: "I put the rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth." The hat is the rainbow, and the scarf is like the river; if the rainbow is hope, the river is the source of joy.

Topic: Give it to them!

I spend a lot of time making things in the kitchen at home, but I always have to eat them! This paper cup "muffin" is a conscience recipe: almond flour + banana + nuts + eggs + blueberries + etc. Enjoy it yourself and eat well.

Title: Entering the Land of Canaan

This hat symbolizes a tent wandering in the wilderness for a while, but one day it will enter the land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey!
