"Amy's Symphonic Life"

Continue to resonate with life

Unexpected new book promotion

"A song of despair that is broken to the end can also be recomposed into a beautiful movement full of happiness." "Amy's Symphonic Life" is a collection of testimonials that tells the story of my life.

I lost my mother and father when I was young; I was abused when I was growing up; after my marriage, a car accident severely injured my son and he is disabled to this day; my husband’s business failed and he went bankrupt and was in debt; our marriage broke up and I took on the sole responsibility for the family’s livelihood...

The overwhelming suffering and layers of pressure brought me to the bottom of my life, and I became a veritable loser. But the end of man is also the beginning of God, and the experience of encountering Jesus Christ is recorded in detail in the testimonies. God’s grace, unfailing love, and encouragement supported me, gradually changing my life and that of my family, improving our lives, and repairing broken relationships. Life is never the same again.

The new book will be printed in Taiwan at the end of 2019. While waiting for the book to be shipped to the United States, I was planning that once the book arrived, I would go to different churches, fellowships, small groups, and gospel organizations to promote it through book launches and testimony sharing. Unexpectedly, before the books arrived, the new coronavirus started to spread, and the original plan was completely shelved.

Immediately after the epidemic broke out in the eastern United States, New Jersey, a home state, became a particularly hard-hit area. Faced with an unpredictable situation, I joined the prayer team at Bethel Center. Every morning, I joined brothers and sisters from different churches and different regions online to pray together for my family, the church, the United States, and this generation. It was also because of the two testimony sharings at the morning prayer meeting that the new book "Aimee's Symphonic Life" reached the hands of many readers from different backgrounds through hand-delivery and mailing by brothers and sisters. Then, through the moved readers who posted their comments and recommendations in their respective groups, the book spread.

In addition, Southern American News Weekly and "True Love" family magazine began serializing the book in installments in May and June; the Australian version of the June Horn also published an introduction to the new book.

Overjoyed response

Readers, both Christian and non-Christian, responded unanimously that they saw in the book that the author's life had been transformed because of Jesus Christ, and that the storms in his life had enhanced his faith in the Father. A sister gave this book to a friend. This friend has been in marital difficulties for a long time and has been unable to get rid of sadness and anger. After reading my life experience, he felt greatly relieved. Some readers responded that after seeing the various difficulties I faced recorded in the book, their difficulties were nothing in comparison, so they changed their mindset and were relieved.

At the same time, I also received a lot of encouragement. I have left a huge stain on my life. Although I have overcome obstacles and truthfully recorded the shame and ugliness that I did not want others to know, there is always a voice in my heart that keeps accusing me: You are not worthy to bear witness for the Lord! Now, because of the readers’ responses and encouragement, I am able to break away from self-accusation and witness God’s actions in my life with courage and faith.

My life testimony is as what the Bible says: “The temptations you will encounter are no more than what is possible for man. God is faithful and will not let you be tempted above what you are able. When you are tempted, you will never be tempted. To make a way out for you, so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

I hope that this book will become a medium for more people to know God; I hope that everyone will be blessed by receiving the salvation of Jesus.
