Chris Chou, Kingdom Resources Magazine Art Director

Chris is an artist and art consultant from Taiwan, now living in Boston. She is a full-time art creator, and was Guggenheim Fellow in 2007. She serves as a KRC workshop lecturer, the magazine art director and columnist. She loves painting, loves colors, and likes to use symbols to tell stories about relationships.

"I love color, I strive to push colors to their full potentials. I have a direct approach, selecting form and color that deeply resonate with me, using personal symbols drawn from nature, and explore relationships—the relationship between people and objects as well as God and me. My goal is simple yet full of challenges, I believe painting is my mission. I want to use it to share, to comfort and to celebrate. Through my painting you might smell different seasons, have a surprise date, or just a simple smile."
