[2014 Taiwan KRC Cultural Practice Camp] Comprehensive Report

Sponsored by Taiwan's "Resources for Christ Association", the KRC Cultural Practice Camp with the theme of "Looking Forward and Entering into the Abundance of Christ" was held from September 26 to 28, 2014 in Jiaoxi, Yilan, a quiet and comfortable place surrounded by hills. "Star of David Hot Spring Resort" was held.

Four workshops for unleashing your gifts

A total of four workshops were launched this time: "Family Story Writing Workshop" taught by teacher Su Wen'an, "Art Appreciation and Creation Workshop" taught by painter Zhou Lanhui, "Practical Worship Theology Workshop" led by Pastor Chen Yihao, Betsy Wei ) teacher’s “Dancing to Perfection Workshop”.

The camp provides a rich and diverse range of workshops so that those who are determined to serve can discover the abundant resources and gifts God has placed in everyone’s lives, and help themselves and others enjoy and live out the richness of Christ.

Four Equipment Stations for Receiving Abundance

Teacher Su Wen'an took "About me and my family" as the theme of this writing camp and taught students how to write family story categories such as "parents and children", "marriage", "elders", "marriage change/single parent", "family cohesion and faith inheritance" , helping students get pastoral care from listening to lectures, doing exercises, and appreciating videos and sample articles.

Teacher Zhou Lanhui's "Art Appreciation and Creation Camp" takes personal life as the main axis of creation. Under step-by-step guidance, students are led to think and enjoy the creative process and draw their own life picture books. Students will publicly publish their thoughts and picture book works on the day of graduation.

Pastor Chen Yihao, who is currently promoting the ministry of the Lily Center in Taichung, in addition to leading all the students in each class to enjoy worshiping God with their whole beings in the morning, during the "Practical Worship Workshop" class , but also from a biblical and cultural perspective, leading everyone to cultivate a healthy mentality of interacting with God and becoming a person who likes to worship. Pastor Chen hopes to teach poetry composition in the coming year and inspire students to compose songs of life.

Teacher Betsy loves Taiwan. Since the opening of Taiwan KRC Cultural Camp in 2009, she has come from as far away as the United States to teach, and she has a group of students who love her. She teaches students in the form of modern dance and dances with piety and confidence in their faith. In the graduation collective creation "Amazing Grace", she shows the strength and emotional level of the dancers' movements, allowing the audience to experience the same thing as the performers on the stage. A spiritual journey.

3. Teacher Wei Betty teaches the true meaning of dance and encourages everyone to use body language to worship God freely. 4. At the colorful dumpling banquet, everyone felt full visually and belly-wise.

Weng Yaxin, a co-organizer of the camp, said: "Thank you for your enthusiastic participation. There are a total of 77 teachers and students in this camp. Each class of students has learned a lot. I hope to continue writing, painting, creating and worshiping after going back. Worship until we meet the Lord. The next KRC camp is scheduled for October 9 to 11, 2015. We look forward to gathering together to bless the Lord next year!”

The closing ceremony of the conference was rarely led by Pastor Chen Yihao, the composer of "Resources of the Kingdom of God for Christ", and Pastor Su Wen'an, the lyricist. When the piano accompaniment played, the congregation loudly sang in unison:
