Interviewee profile: Shara Pradhan, at the age of thirteen, decided to follow God's call throughout her life. After graduating from Princeton University, he joined the International House of Prayer (IHOP) to serve. In 2002, he went to Africa to participate in the Rainbow Ministry and worked with Beheidi. Sarah is passionate and responsible for missionary work in Mozambique, Africa, and she does her best to preach for God with the gift of healing and prayer.

I first met Sarah Prahan a few years ago when she was one of the speakers at a gathering in Fredericksburg, Virginia. When she knelt down and buried her head in her hands to pray for a while, I felt God’s power and presence shaking the whole venue. What convinced me was her prayer: total self-forgetfulness, letting go of the crowd, transcending the environment, and the concentration of being determined to withdraw (although still stay on the podium) to talk to God. To this day, I will never forget that young lady from India who prayed before the throne of God.

Pastor Jay Zinn (hereinafter referred to as Jay), editor of "Kingdom of God" magazine: The focus of this interview is about supernatural power. You have seen some amazing things. Can you share some experiences that were particularly impressive?

P: I have witnessed many miracles, such as eyeballs growing out of empty eye sockets and missing limbs growing instantly. What I love most is hearing deaf babies call "Mom" for the first time, and seeing these mothers being so happy about it. But the greatest miracle was what I saw God do in Rolland Baker, the founder of Iris Ministries.

Last April, Beloron was on the verge of death. He suffered from what is commonly known as cerebral malaria for many years. After more than thirty years of missionary service without a sabbatical or a sabbatical year, he became seriously ill. Last week I received the news from Heidi Baker that God once again performed a miracle on him and brought him back to life. Now, he has been completely healed by God!

Jay: Have you witnessed any other miracles?

P: What moved me most was the prostitute’s experience of being healed. In June 2002, I went on my first medical missionary trip with Todd Bentley’s Fresh Fire Team. At that time, there were 120 co-workers of Rainbow Ministries (Lauren and Heidi) who fed 100,000 people for four months during the Great Famine.

We went to the hospital to pray thoroughly, praying for the power of healing to make the patients recover, and even doctors and nurses asked to join our team. During that trip, God said to me, “In one year, you are going to move to Mozambique and become Beheidi’s personal assistant.” At the time, I had no idea who she was. .

Once, Agni Ministries took us to a school. When I was taking care of the children, God showed me: "There is a Muslim girl who needs to be saved. She is in urgent need of salvation, but she is very afraid, because when she gives her life to Jesus, she will be persecuted and rejected by her family, and her life will even be in danger. "I looked at the children in light blue uniforms like a sea of water and asked myself: "Where is that girl?"

Then God pointed out this girl to me. After the conversation, she became a little shy because the other children saw an American missionary giving her their full attention. Then, God said to me: "She was afraid to give her life to Jesus in front of the crowd, so take her into the bus." So I "smuggled" her into the bus and preached to her about the Lord of life and salvation. She struggled and hesitated for a long time. Finally, as our team was almost back on the bus, she made the decision to surrender her life completely to Jesus.

Suddenly, I realized: "Oh my god! She is going home, and what awaits her is to be killed!" This made me extremely depressed. After she got off the bus, I stretched my arm out the window and held her hand tightly. At that moment, we cried at each other. I thought to myself: I will never see her again. As the bus pulled away, I called to her to come to the six o'clock healing meeting, but I couldn't tell where it was because I only knew it was at a nearby football field.

When we arrived at the healing conference, 100,000 Malawians were packed into the venue. As the bus pulled up to the small, unstable wooden stage, a crowd of smiling Africans swarmed up. However, among the tens of thousands of people, the one who was waiting to see me was this girl. She actually found the football field and brought her Muslim family members-sister, mother and grandmother, three generations of whom are AIDS patients. Her grandmother's condition was so severe that she was blind. We prayed for her many times and tried various methods, but to no avail. Grandma is still blind. After I stepped onto the podium, the only thing I could do was kneel down and begin to worship. I kept worshiping and crying for this family, and suddenly a word came to my mind - prostitute.

"Oh my God!" I thought, "Can't I ask them if they are prostitutes?" Asking such questions in the preaching ministry is more likely to lead to failure than success. But I still asked with the simple faith of a child: "Is there anyone in this family who is a prostitute?" The girl cried and said, "Before my father left us, he sold our whole family into prostitutes." After that, I talked about the salvation of Jesus. Well, and told them how Jesus approached the prostitutes and sat at table with them. Then, lead their entire family to repent of prostitution and accept Jesus as the Lord of their lives. At that moment, their AIDS was cured and their grandmother regained her sight; all this was later confirmed by doctors.

Jay: It’s so amazing! How does Behetti affect your belief in miracles and supernatural powers?

P: I've experienced a lot of paranormal phenomena. The more you see God, the more you will realize that you have nothing and only want to pursue it with all your strength. As you grow in the Lord, you will humble yourself and become more like a child who is 100% dependent on your Heavenly Father. The more you enjoy the feast, the more you will feel that it is just crumbs falling under the table, and you will never be satisfied. This is the Kingdom of God; it will never cease to amaze you, never to be fathomed. And all this is just the first taste of eternity.

Meeting Behaidi was the night before God saved the prostitute's family. At that time, we were observing in her ministry seminar. Because I had already heard about her, I paid special attention to this blond, white-skinned, petite lady who preached at the Divine Doctors Conference. She was already a celebrity, and she refused to sit on the podium with other speakers in order to get into the crowd. I saw her kissing a deaf baby, and the baby's ears opened and he could hear sounds. Heidi didn't even open her mouth to pray, she just let God's love flow through her, and it was done.

At that conference, God himself came and walked among the people. No matter where God went, many people were healed immediately. At that time, God Himself told me, "In one year, you are going to drop everything and move to Mozambique to serve Behaidi for a period of time." Before that, I had never talked to her about this. Besides, I was still someone else's assistant at that time; she also had her own assistant. But two weeks later, I met Behaidi at an airport in another country, and God sovereignly did it.

I say for sure,What I admire most about Heidi and Lauren is not the power they have received, but the fact that they live out the life of Christ and they earnestly follow Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.I have seen Heidi write checks to people who stole from, slandered, and nearly usurped their ministry. Beheidi not only blesses her enemies, but also builds a home for them. I have seen this couple go through great darkness and pain, selflessly and trying their best to forgive. All this moved me to tears. It is a great honor for me to meet and coexist with them. During the ministry, I accompanied Heidi on Thursday night evangelism missions to heal the sick, pitched a tent in the jungle, and danced and performed in dramas with her “sons and daughters” in Mozambique.

Jay: Some people say that on the one hand, many young people enjoy the power of the Holy Spirit’s work, but on the other hand, they cannot live a life commensurate with it. In other words, they prayed for healing, but their lives did not reveal a holy and God-fearing aspect. Have you seen similar examples?

P: I have indeed come across similar examples. However, the responsibility for their falls does not entirely lie with them, but also with the church’s failure to lead in a spiritual way. The church should avoid being idolized when a person is reused by God, which may lead to them being isolated or even falling. Furthermore, we live in a culture that “worships man” more than “the all-beautiful Son of Man, Christ Jesus.” This sets our eyes on people instead of God, dooming us to disappointment. Just like the result of the Israelites looking for a king instead of the King of kings.

It is extremely sad that our ministry often suffers because of a lack of eternal vision. We must understand that we are not living for the perishable crown, but for the immortal crown. Our reward in this life is to be closer to Him, and my greatest desire is to be close to Jesus in my heavenly home. To this end, I will do my best in this life; I don’t care if He hides me in a closet and prays, or preaches to thousands of people, I just want to be close to Him in heaven.

Jay: How can we experience more of God’s supernatural power?

P: I think it starts with “turning back to God.” Like this year, when I led a missionary team to India for Rainbow Ministries, I had to be hospitalized because I was dying. I had given my life to the Lord at the age of thirteen, and now, at the age of thirty, I was lying in the intensive care unit in Bangalore, India, thinking, "What will happen if I die?" How much eternal value does my life have?” I cried on the hospital bed. What I longed for in my heart was that God would give me more time. I hoped that my family could be saved.

After seven years of working with Beheidi and her team, I started my own ministry. Before I left my job, the Lord apparently hid me in order to give me some special healing and to reconcile me with my unbelieving family members. Being hidden allows me to rest and spend time alone with Him. The apostles we see in Acts 4:3 were uneducated and unskilled in the eyes of the religious leaders, but they could recognize them as people who had followed Jesus. Therefore, whether it is training in the academy, studying the Bible and praying diligently at home, or any practice that wholeheartedly seeks to meet God face to face, people can see the mark left by the Holy Spirit.

Jay: Who is your role model for faith? Great men in books or people still living among the people?

P: In my life, my biggest influences are Behaidi, Mike Bickle, Lau & Theresa Engle, Stacey Campbell and Bill Johnson. Each of them has profoundly influenced me.

As a child, I met Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and it was there that I first heard the voice of God. Both my father and sister were atheists, they did not believe in God, but for some reason, the whole family wanted to see Mother Teresa. So we went. I was a little disappointed that I had to wait several hours to see her, as I thought this was a real tourist industry. "What the hell?" I thought to myself, "because India doesn't have Disneyland, so everyone goes to Mother Teresa?"

I finally met Mother Teresa. She prayed and blessed me, then took off her personal necklace and gave it to my mother, who handed it to me. The deepest impression left on me by Mother Teresa is that her feet looked like saucers (a large plate) because she never wore shoes, which made her feet different from others. This allowed me to understand her choice - to live out the Beatitudes and live a life of humility.

Misty Edwards, a singer and songwriter from IHOP (International House of Prayer), calls this world a paradoxical country—you can only gain after losing, and you can only live after death. Jim Elliot said: "A person who gives what he cannot have and strives for what he cannot lose is not a fool." The funny thing is that as soon as I walked out of the Mother Teresa Ministry Center, I was besieged by a group of beggars. ;This is common in India. I gave everything away: sweatshirts, earrings, and just a few rupees, until there was nothing left to give, and there were still so many hands reaching out to me, and I looked around, and it was all hands, hands, hands! That's when the Lord said to me, "Share the only thing that is inexhaustible."

At that moment, through those asking hands, I clearly understood my calling in this life—to spread God’s love. This is the inexhaustible thing! Because He died for us, His love will never end. I knew for sure that was my calling in life.

International House of Prayer (IHOP)

A 24/7 prayer ministry started by Mike Bickle in Kansas City, USA. Since 1999, the prayer meeting has been held 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Prayer rooms are held every two hours, each led by a full-time worship team. The daily schedule includes different types of prayer meetings. The entire ministry focuses on prayer, fasting, evangelism, and teaching and equipping believers for the end times. The International House of Prayer operates as a missionary base, and its co-workers need to raise funds on their own outside the International House of Prayer. This mission base is equipped with Forerunner School of Ministry, Forerunner Music Academy and Forerunner Media Institute. There are also several intensive training courses, such as the three-month "Fire in the Night" and the six-month youth internship.
