Colorful clothes that shake the soul
【2011 Taiwan KRC Latest News】Uncle Button Easter Taipei Flower Expo
For eight consecutive days, every day was either a full-time service or at least three performances a day. Until Friday afternoon, Uncle Button rarely had any free time!
He and I were walking on the streets of Taipei. Uncle Button was tall and lanky, while I was short and fat. He looked a bit like two comedians, Laurel and Hardy. I came up with an idea, "I went to visit Ding Yuanping of Tianen Publishing House." How does it look?" Uncle Button said that was exactly what he meant. Since "Kingdom of God" magazine is produced with the assistance of Tian'en Publishing House in Taiwan, President Ding is the most familiar with Uncle Button.
On the way to Tian'en Publishing House, Uncle Button and I talked about our feelings about this Easter mission trip to Taiwan. Uncle Button said that if he could sum it up in two short words, he would be "moved", especially at the Eden Foundation. Performing for special children and facing friends with different levels of obstacles made Uncle Button reflect, "I have to work harder!" I asked why? Uncle Button said: "I don't just look at whether the children are happy or not, or how much they smile. I pray that the Lord will give me a sensitive heart and know how to understand their deepest needs!"

Before you move others, move yourself first
Uncle Button saw that the tutor's focus was on the children with disabilities. The children with disabilities who usually did not smile laughed heartily at Uncle Button's funny performance. The teacher's expression of joy was better than that of the children. When the children saw the bubbles blown, they happily stretched out their little hands and mobilized their bodies to actively catch the bubbles. Uncle Button said: "Just blowing bubbles can make children happy for a long time. It seems that every child wants to enter the world of bubbles, flying... flying...!" The achievement of Uncle Button is that children with disabilities can laugh heartily. However, Uncle Button also encountered a mentally disabled person who was so nervous that he almost went crazy when he heard the whistle. "This taught me to understand that everyone responds to happiness differently!"
"Before you move others, you must first move yourself!" This is Uncle Button's service attitude. Clown missionary work has its charm, but it also has its hard parts. Without invitations, there is no income. When Uncle Button decided to take the path of ministry, he "completely looked up" to God. He didn't ask how much the inviting unit would give, but only what he could give. How touching everyone was. Ordinary performers should try their best to find friends of all ages who can cooperate with them, so as not to fail to perform the "act". Uncle Button is faced with friends who all have obstacles. He has no choice and the children cannot cooperate satisfactorily. Uncle Button uses the Eden Fund The association's recent slogan to encourage the public is "never give up" to encourage children. At the moment of success, cheers and applause released the hearts of the children. So, when Uncle Button told the message of resurrection, the children all responded loudly: "Jesus is resurrected!".
The two of us were chatting and unknowingly arrived at Tian'en Publishing House. The first thing President Ding said when we met was: "I am very grateful to God for this Flower Expo performance. In less than two weeks of mobilization, the Flower Dream Plaza is full of people." It was full of tourists, and the line for handing out Easter eggs, rabbits, and balls was over 200 meters long, and all the gospel tracts were handed out at once.” I responded, “The tourists are not satisfied and they want to add another show!”

Let Caiyi shake Taiwan’s resurrected power
Uncle Button’s first performance in Taiwan was to hold a colorful Easter performance at the Flower Expo and distribute Easter eggs in a parade. “A few days before I flew to Taiwan, I heard from my colleagues that the venue for the Flower Expo needs to be proposed a year ago. When I had the opportunity to perform, I never expected that co-workers from Taiwan would be able to perform at the Flower Expo to celebrate the resurrection and preach the gospel.” Indeed, this invitation to Uncle Button during Easter would not have been possible without Pastor Li Quemei, the director of KRC in Taiwan, who insisted on the vision! , the team worked as one, and everyone worked hard to divide the work. Within a week, more than 30 churches and gospel organizations were mobilized, more than 300 tickets were collected, and 6,000 balloons, 1,000 Easter eggs, and 1,000 Easter bunnies were made. It was absolutely impossible Complete this impossible mission.
This Easter Parade was successfully held at the Flower Expo. The three directors of Taiwan KRC, Pastor Li Qimei, President Ding and myself, together with Pastor Hong Yahui of Yongyue Church and Pastor Cai Miaoying of Eden Foundation, jointly set the tone. We will agree next year Uncle Button came to Taiwan again and held an expanded "Colorful Resurrection Celebration" parade in Taipei with colorful clothes, colorful flags, eggs, rabbits, and balls.
After leaving Tian En, the street lights still reflected the asymmetrical figures of the two people. Uncle Button told me that the clown's colorful clothes can shake people's hearts, and also told me that he himself also understood the balance between the character and his true self from this. Clowns need colorful clothes and funny outfits to bring people joy, smiles, happiness, joy, forgetfulness, and relaxation. Behind the colorful clothes, Uncle Buttons has faith as the core, so that it can make the soul throb, bring out the cherishment of life, and laughter. True me. Through KRC, Uncle Button comes to Taiwan, perhaps bringing the colorful surroundings of Christ's resurrection to Taiwan's Easter in a cultural and creative way, allowing colorful clothes to shake Taiwan's resurrection power!
