Issue 23
Kingdom Communication

Knowledge, motivation, action

The executive editor of "Kingdom of God Magazine" always sends manuscripts to me one after another near the end of each issue for me to review in preparation for writing this masthead. I have very complicated feelings about writing this short article. On the one hand, I feel completely unworthy to write, but on the other hand, I feel excited to have such a precious opportunity to exchange my thoughts and opinions with readers. Therefore, writing this manuscript for each issue brings me a lot of pressure. I don’t want to waste everyone’s reading time, the limited space of the magazine, and everyone’s dedication to this magazine and the resources of the Kingdom of God.

Talking about my own unworthiness, I always feel that compared with others, what I have contributed is too limited. As I have mentioned many times, the editors of "Kingdom Magazine" are not only extremely busy and devoted to their own lives, ministries, and careers, but they also responsibly and generously contribute to the gifts and talents given to them by God the Father. and time to write this journal. Even so, our demands are not compromised. Every article must be in line with the magazine's response to God the Father's heart and its commitment to readers: it must be forward-looking, breakthrough, challenging, and applicable. Not that we have all achieved it, but as far as I know, every editor, and even the authors we invite, are fully committed to these four goals and commitments. To achieve this goal, we must not only strengthen our writing skills, but more importantly, expand our horizons, increase our knowledge, accumulate experience, broaden our minds, and most importantly, by walking with the Lord every day, The result is a keen experience and response to the Lord’s will and work. Please keep watch for us!

When I talk about my excitement about writing this manuscript, it is because I am often the first to be inspired and moved when I read a magazine manuscript, and I hope to share with readers the surging emotions that overflow in my chest. This issue is no exception. . "Garden in the Palm" is a vivid live record of the regular telephone reading sharing meetings of the alumni of the Kingdom of Joy Reading Camp. It allowed me to wander in the rich literary field with book lovers, and filtered and recommended several must-read books for me. Book. "The Favored Daughter of God" and the English version of "Dead Man Resurrects to Forgive Killer", their life stories are shocking. "The Dangerous Direction of the United States" is an exclusive interview with Professor Wen Yingqian, chairman of the board of directors of this association. It is a great reminder to American Christians, especially since more than half of the readers of "The Kingdom of God" live in the United States. Of course, please don’t miss the column [Exploring the World of Jin Yong’s Martial Arts] to see how Pastor Su Wen’an leads us out of the Christian cultural frame and connects us with today’s most popular martial arts novels. As for Pastor Chen Yihao's "From DNA to LILY" interview, it is a great gift prepared by this magazine for readers who are concerned about the direction of church pastoral care and teaching.

Recently, people often encourage me, saying that "Kingdom of God" has become a publication that they read carefully. This is the biggest reward for all our co-workers, thank you. We hope that this magazine will continue to work hard and make progress, not only to achieve the four goals I mentioned above, but also to bring out strong knowledge, inspiration and action, so as to unite a group of people who are like light and salt, full of heat and love. The power, the vitality, can influence the whole generation of Christian disciples.

From August 3rd to 15th this year, we will also hold three levels of the Kingdom of God Resource Culture Practice Camp at the St. Francis Retreat Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA (see course schedule on page 82). We hope that you will not only reserve time for yourself, but also invite co-workers, relatives and friends to attend.
