Four elements of practical management

The 40th issue of "Kingdom of God" magazine contains the article "Making Good Use of the Four Elements of Management" written by Elder Lin Yuanshang, which applies the basic concepts of management to examples of government management, allowing readers to combine theory with practice and can immediately apply it in on the management matters they face.

We often say: "Do your best and obey the destiny." This seems to be a negative attitude, but it contains great faith and obedience. God’s arrangements are not in vain or accidental. He places you and me in management positions that must have a special meaning: to benefit the company or group, or to exercise your and my faith and ability. All of this is to accomplish His will. And all we have to do is obey His arrangements and complete our due work in our position with all our heart.

Since He has arranged it, He will give you the appropriate intelligence to "plan" your work. And you will have an "organization" to help each other and encourage each other. Under God's "leadership", be alert and "evaluate" every step you take.

However, no matter how perfect a person's plan is, it cannot keep up with changes, let alone a word from a superior. Avoid judging heroes based on their success or failure from a worldly perspective. Instead, try to see how we manage the big and small things around us from God’s perspective. I hope that when we meet the Lord, He will say, “You are a faithful and good servant.”

Treat and counsel with a positive attitude

"Kingdom of God" Magazine Issue 40 "Millennials Album" This theme is very close to me because I spent 20 years of my career with the Millennials, especially the second decade when I taught at a very conservative school. of church university.

I have found that young Christians also stumble when faced with sexual temptation and cheat on exams. If we judge them differently, we will inevitably be disappointed.

I appreciate that Sister Gao Lili opened the book with a positive attitude to describe the advantages of the Millennial generation - authenticity, passion, purity, informality, non-pleasantness, unity of words and deeds, serving others, and loving others. In addition, they are good at technology; breaking conventions, national boundaries, communities, and economic barriers.

Gao Lili said: "Millennials contain unlimited possibilities." It is not an exaggeration at all. How to mentor and get along with Millennials is the responsibility of us Boomers to take the first step!

Don’t teach people to underestimate their youth

The 40th issue of "Kingdom of God" magazine published several true stories of young people serving fearlessly in various circumstances. I was deeply moved by each article. I recall that when I was their age, I was still an ignorant international student who only planned for life and rarely took a broad view of the world. Seeing the attitude of many young people sincerely pursuing their faith made me seriously reflect on my own faith. Who says older people can't learn from younger people? ! These young people are role models for me to learn from in humility. May God bless these young people greatly. Thank you to Kingdom of God Magazine for your careful reporting.
