Love to Hear You Speak

The revival of the Ark of the Covenant in my home starts with me

Read the 75th issue of Pastor Su Wen’an’sThe Ark of the Covenant is in My House〉Very inspired. As mentioned in the article, each of our believers should treasure the Ark of the Covenant established for us by God in our hearts, so that the revival of faith starts with me.

The Lord said: Treat others as you would like them to treat you; Confucius said: Do not do to others what you do not want others to do to you. It can be seen that for the same principle of dealing with others, Confucius's method is passive, and Lord's method is active.

Passivity means waiting for others to understand you, waiting for others to comfort you, and waiting for others to satisfy you. When you can't wait, the feeling of grievance is inevitable; but active people rarely feel aggrieved: they take the initiative to take responsibility, express actively, and make demands... Obviously, passivity is passive and has no influence, but only by taking initiative can we influence society. . Therefore, let us be proactive influencers: the Ark of the Covenant is in my home, actions reveal His glory, and revival begins with me!

Compare one's heart to one's heart

Thank you for your magazine's 72nd issue of Neighbors' report on the care of Taiwanese migrant workers, which moved me very much.

I think when we immigrated to North America, we worked in restaurants, as domestic helpers, or took care of children in order to make a living. The reports mentioned the setbacks encountered by migrant workers, and we have also encountered them.

The Bible teaches us to be kind to strangers and to love our neighbors as ourselves. During our immigration days, we encountered good bosses who treated us with compassion. Of course, we also encountered very harsh employers who treated us as second-class citizens. Thankfully, I have met more good bosses than harsh bosses.

Thank the Lord, without those difficult days, we would not have experienced relying on God and believing in His presence. The migrant care ministry reported in the magazine made me grateful to those people who serve silently.

My current work environment also includes newly immigrated workers, and I hope that I can also be someone who conveys warmth and shares God’s grace. —(American Lin Qi)

Open up your weaknesses and open up opportunities to share

What do people need for "relationships"? Have soulWhat do you need? How can a living person share his or her life with others? Is being strong and solid as a rock really a cry for help from an emotional need?

Issue 75〈What do you need?〉, with the emergence of AI girlfriends and boyfriends, we are thinking about whether sophisticated programming can intervene and replace human interaction. Artificial intelligence is not a living thing after all. Vigorous vitality, beauty, confidence, abundance, joy, enthusiasm... God has given man the need for close connection with nature and with others.

By trusting Christ Jesus, we can establish an intimate relationship with God. With the core value from God, “confess your sins to one another and pray for one another.” Have the courage to expose your weaknesses, tear down the high walls that prevent others from penetrating, and truly state your situation and needs. This is to give yourself an opportunity to receive comfort, encouragement, and forgiveness; at the same time, it is giving others an opportunity to share. Let the sincere interaction begin here.

We all need a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere and environment to truly appreciate the intimate interaction and connection of the Body of Christ, as the author prays: Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, loneliness and isolation will become less and less.
