Renewal and Change While Maintaining Values

Everyone knows clearly that we are in a moment of global turmoil. Since the epidemic, there have been many changes in every aspect. These changes require us to make many adjustments in life, work, and ministry, but perhaps more importantly, changes in thought, spirit, and behavior. The book of Romans exhorts followers of Christ to be continually renewed and changed, to discern God’s will and to know what is good, perfect, and acceptable to Him.

For 25 years, KRC has persisted in serving the saints and discerning God’s will on the mission and vision entrusted by God. On the basis of faith, we gather together to think and take action. We use magazines, camps, and communicate with each other. Build up and encourage the saints.

In the past few years, we have also seen that the ministry needs transformation and the need to expand new ways of serving. After prayer and seeking, in order to meet the needs of the new generation, KRC opened up new ministries, gradually shifting from the publication of paper magazines to audio-visual magazines, and from physical camps to more online workshops. Thank you to the Lord for preparing full-time staff for us. At the same time, we are also facing double the financial needs and challenges than in previous years. KRC's total expenditure last year was $275,000, and this year's budget is also more than 300,000.

In the past six months, due to financial constraints, the expansion of new ministries has been suspended, while existing ministries such as magazines and online workshops are still continuing. Even if a new ministry is launched, it will take some time to gain widespread recognition and financial support. At this critical moment, we must have enough cash flow to maintain ministry operations. We urgently need 100,000 yuan to cover expenses in the next few months. Matthew 9:18-19 records the story of a synagogue ruler who came to Jesus to ask Jesus to heal his dead daughter. This father who loves his daughter obviously did something unreasonable. There are many people in the world just like this dead daughter. In the past few years, the church has gradually become desolate. Many people have lost sight of hope and have left the church and even their faith.

KRC upholds God’s entrustment and adheres to the principles of foresight, challenge, breakthrough, practicality, knowledge, inspiration, and action. For example, the theme of last year’s and this year’s spring retreats was: “Interpreting contemporary pluralism with biblical truth.” Culture", as well as "reconstruction and suggestions for the future of evangelicalism", think together and provide believers with discernment and practices in the truth.
