Have you ever fallen asleep contented and with your mouth raised, only to wake up the next morning with a smile on your face? This is how Li Yingfang felt about the Taiwan KRC Alumni Association and General Meeting that concluded on April 9 this year.

Alumni of the Kingdom of God Cultural Camp recalled that each camp was like participating in a feast of Christ. They received rich enjoyment in every aspect of body, mind and soul. They experienced the riches of the Kingdom of Heaven personally and became a person who is willing to give, dare to give, and is willing to give. People who spend their lives and treasures generously invest in things that have lasting impact.

Sister Li Yingfang put on her sportswear before dawn on Sunday, April 10, before six o'clock in the morning, and went for a brisk walk, enjoying the intimate moment of dialogue with the Lord while thinking about eighteen hours ago. The excitement of the KRC "family" meeting, the beauty of getting together, sharing with each other (whether on stage or off), the grace of God's presence, and the greetings from KRC founder Teacher Yang Gaolili to everyone late at night in the United States With the message of love, I walked almost 10,000 steps (7.5 kilometers) unconsciously, as if in the blink of an eye, without feeling tired at all!

Nearly forty people came to this alumni association and general meeting. Alumni from the Taiwan Camp presented gifts regardless of each other, which is also a major feature of KRC. The worship service led by Pastor Chen Shiting, a senior alumnus and former secretary-general of Kifford, welcomed each other with "We are all one family" and even sang the song "...to open and utilize every heavenly treasure...we turn dreams into Take action and dedicate your whole being...challenge narrowness, use wisdom, courage, faith and love, dedicate your life to share the resources of the kingdom of God, and let the blessings of Christ flow." We hope that we will become willing to trust God wholeheartedly, continue to make breakthroughs, and thoroughly Committed disciples of the Lord! However, Sister Chen Jiansu and Sister Huang Xuanwen, while enjoying themselves to the fullest, still did not forget to pick up the camera to capture the scene.

The "Pastor's Message" of this alumni association was shared by Rev. Chen Zhihong, an alumnus of KRC's 2013 Word Camp, a former supervisor of the Lutheran Church in Taiwan, one of the presidium members of the Faith and Hope League, and the president of Daosheng Publishing House. The theme scripture is Matthew 28. Chapter 19, the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus to us: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." According to the original text interpretation, Pastor Chen reminded that this The main verb in the verse is "to make disciples." Therefore, the church world not only values missions and making people decide to believe in the Lord, but also trains all nations to become disciples.

▲Pastor Chen Zhihong preached the message.

Wanmin not only refers to nationalities, but also includes all walks of life. Pastor Chen used Taiwan’s 12-year state education textbook on sexual equality as an example. If Christians want to block content inappropriate for children and express biblical values, they need to work together from politics, education, commercial publishing, to principals, teachers, parents, and even civil society and other fields. cooperate. In society, there must also be people who devote themselves to literature, art, and media to speak out to unbelievers, and they cannot confront others head-on with preaching. Therefore, Pastor Chen highly affirms KRC and encourages Christians to explore the "unique" resources and talents given by God and use them for Christ.

The "Art Salon" is a specially arranged event by the alumni association, where three alumni writers jointly shared the event. The first speaker also has a close relationship with Tao Sheng. Brother Wu Junde, a KRC alumnus who was called to receive the missionary vision and is currently studying at Huashen University, won the first prize in the "Taosheng Centenary Celebration" Essay Novel category for his martial arts novel "Taipingji". He attended the event with his wife and lovely daughter. . Brother Wu has always loved reading martial arts novels, writing, and studying Chinese literature. He feels that martial arts is a genre that is exclusive to the Chinese and is very popular. If martial arts novels can be used to reflect the life course and values of Christians, they are expected to have greater influence. Now that he has a child, although he is too busy to write novels for the time being, it has given him a new understanding and he has begun to devote himself to prose writing.

Pastor Li Qimei of Taiwan Quaker Phoebe Church then brought a new perspective. Many people know that she was the first pastor from Tzu Chi to return to the Lord. She took her brothers and sisters from Phoebe Church to KRC camps in the United States and Taiwan to experience God together. But they didn’t know that she was the first prize winner of the Hong Jianquan Children’s Literature Award. , went to Japan to study children's literature and education, and jointly promoted children's literature with the famous writer Lin Liang. But after she believed in the Lord, she, like the apostle Paul, regarded everything as rubbish and all creations were for the purpose of spreading God's love.

Pastor Li brought many wonderful works, among which the picture book "Missions from the President" is fascinating just for its title. The President asked turkeys to "buy Jesus" to disadvantaged countries. How to do it? How to reflect "eternal love" through this? Moreover, in one story, children can have at least three kinds of learning, and the power of combining story and education is amazing. The whole audience listened with great interest.

Li Zhiang, who won the first prize in the Ni Kuang Science Fiction Award category, emphasized that Pastor Su Wen'an's talk about the spirit of Christianity from Jin Yong's martial arts and the Legend of Zhen Huan opened his eyes! It can be seen that popular, popular, and trendy culture is not just for non-Christians. Christians can also play a great role in this field!

Li Zhiang also mentioned that evolution and atheism are still great obstacles to evangelism through articles by Sloan and others in the Millennials album of Kingdom of God magazine and the testimony of Pastor Xu Zongshi. He hopes to inherit the satirical comedy tradition of Shakespeare and Chekhov, and uses the science fiction novel "The Invisible Battleship" to highlight the absurdity of accepting the theory of evolution without thinking. Please pray for his creations and for Christian cultural figures to be able to talk to the public through novels, movies and other channels!

▲Sincere greetings from KRC family.

Of course, Secretary-General Li Yingfang also shared with alumni his experience in KRC’s conference growth and promotion, witnessing how God Himself opens every door of connection and inspires everyone to live out KRC’s dream—the team of Christ, regardless of denominations, church groups, or institutions. , families or individuals, regardless of each other, can work together and work together as one for the expansion of the kingdom.

The three-minute short film "The Story of a Truckful of Water" by Pastor Su Wen'an, the teacher of the word camp, was also shared at the scene. The film sincerely and accurately conveyed what is different about the KRC camp? Even though I am an alumnus, I was still deeply moved while nodding my head while listening and watching.

There is also a "KRC and You" time, where alumni enthusiastically share in writing and verbally what touches them most about KRC. Brother Wu Ruicheng, a Hakka literary worker, mentioned, "There are very few Hakka believers in Taiwan, so this is a very unpopular and lonely ministry. Thank the Lord, I met Professor Wen Yingqian at the KRC camp in Taiwan in 2010. From then on , he became my voluntary supervisor, which was of great help to my writing and research. Without his help, I might have fled away." Sister Li Huaiwen, a professional editor, mentioned, "What touches me most about KRC is, You have found your soulmate, and you don’t need to waste words to explain. As long as you participate wholeheartedly, your emotions and emotions can be expressed freely. It is smooth, moist and comfortable..." Sister Lin Xiuhui from the financial industry said: "What touches me most is KRC. , so that the participants’ perspective is not limited to the church, but has a broader perspective on their connection with the kingdom of God.” There are many more responses, which will be shared later due to limited space.

Through this KRC Taiwan Alumni Association and Membership Conference, we once again truly and deeply enjoyed the rich banquet with the Lord. We were satiated intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually, with laughter, emotion, and joy. New ideas, connotations, and depth. After the meeting, many people responded frequently and learned a lot, which was very inspiring! I also beg the Lord in prayer to allow each of us to gather together, encourage and learn from each other, continue to experience God through KRC, expand our spiritual horizons, recommit ourselves, and live a more exciting life!
