Enjoy your date with God

2003 was the first time I attended the KRC camp, and I have attended it every year since then. In it, I learned the core values of the Kingdom of God, met many partners who were both teachers and friends, and was committed to putting my “two pens”—painting and writing—in front of the altar. May God build, bless, and use me!

During my fifteen years of personal participation, I have gained something different from each year’s camp. On the last day of this three-day fellowship back in the cornfield, Pastor Mei mentioned "Curious George" in his Sunday message, that naughty little monkey who was messing around in front of the paint bucket. Someone suddenly responded: "This is Lan Hui!" Everyone laughed, and my instinct was to retort: "I object!" But then Pastor Mei actually wanted to praise the monkey for being creative, capable of breakthroughs, etc., "Well, this Just accept it.”

Everyone has their own "emotional buttons". I don't like to be arbitrarily distorted or labeled by others, so I sometimes rush to defend myself. In fact, winning or losing is not on the chessboard. You must learn not to compete for the pleasure in front of you, but to give yourself time to settle, filter out the dregs, and the flavor will emerge!

Psalm 46:10 says: "Rest, and know that I am God!" Salvation lies in returning to rest, and strength lies in peace and quiet. Even though life may be complicated or busy, there is still time to be silent and enjoy every good time you have with God.
