[2014 Spring Report] 3 KRC Small Retreat and Alumni Reunion

Since we have so many witnesses surrounding us like a cloud,
Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us,
Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1)
Just when there was too much work and I really wanted to rest, a sister from the church invited me to attend the KRC spring retreat. I agreed immediately, thinking in my heart that God really understands my needs.
The camp lasts three days and two nights, and the accommodation is in a hotel, which is very relaxing and relaxing. A caring sister drove a car and invited me and other sisters to go with us, six people in a car. When we arrived at the venue, we felt like a family, greeting each other cordially and warmly. At that time, Pastor Xu Zongshi’s virtuous wife, Mrs. Chen Meijin, blessed me: This camp can change and reverse my thoughts and concepts. But I just listened and didn't take it seriously.
God's favor
"Living in the abundant favor of Heavenly Father" is the theme message this time, delivered by the speaker, Pastor Donna Pan. She clearly points out the perfection of God's creation and that every life has His purpose and destiny. Donna spoke of Heavenly Father’s love and grace as attributes of God, who created each of us to be unique. If we want to understand the great richness and almighty power of God, we need to know ourselves first, so that we will not be confused and fall down, and then we can live out the abundant life God has prepared for us!
Donna was abused by her father since she was a child. She left home at the age of sixteen and lived on the streets. It wasn’t until she was nineteen that she met a missionary couple, who not only led her to salvation and conversion to the Lord, but also completely turned her life around. During the process of change, there was a lot of resentment and injustice deep in the heart, which needed God’s love to touch and heal again and again. After experiencing all this, Donna regained her strength and can now help others and become a blessing to others.
▲We are the resources of the Kingdom of God. Only by being connected to Jesus Christ as the vine can we spread the love of God. The participating students were all focused and eager to grow.
Healing and comfort
On the first day of group discussion, the theme we shared was "Parents". Discuss whether you were affected or hurt by your parents' words and deeds when you were growing up. These questions brought back memories in me, even ones that I had long forgotten. They were buried deep in my heart. I thought I didn’t care anymore and could let go. As long as I didn’t touch it, it wouldn’t be hurt again.
I have taken some healing and release courses before, but this time it seemed a little different, as if the memories buried deep in my heart were suddenly pulled out. God’s love and words once again became my healing and comfort, and I suddenly felt that my whole body and mind were released. The tears kept flowing, I felt so relaxed and comfortable𣈱! It turns out that only in the truth of God’s love can we obtain true freedom!
In this course, the speaker asked us to keep asking ourselves three questions: "Who am I? Why am I here? Who can I trust?" She said that when we believe that we are unique and valuable treasures created by God, , we will believe that everything we encounter happens with God’s permission, and everything that happens is God’s blessing to us.
Our thoughts, thoughts and choices have a great impact on our lives. Positive thinking leads to a positive life, but Satan uses our weaknesses and negative thinking to attack or accuse us. Therefore, glorify God with praise and thanksgiving!

Live out the glory of God
thank God! Let me experience three days of enrichment, healing, and testimony to the glory of God. It made me realize: God created us according to His image and attributes so that we can grow in His love and live out His glorious image. And if we really want to live out God’s good will, we must admit and recognize our weaknesses and surrender our sovereignty to God. In this way we will find that everything that is broken, hurt, cursed or rejected will be restored in Jesus Christ.
Let us rise up to repair, restore and build, and pass on the beautiful life. You know, we are the resources of the kingdom of God. Only by being connected to the vine of Jesus Christ, being accepted and grown in the source of His love, and equipping and enriching ourselves can we spread the love of God.
Three days of sharing and gathering of love, and through sumptuous meals and snacks, made me rich and satisfied not only spiritually, but also physically. Thanks to the loving encouragement of KRC teachers and co-workers, as well as the mutual support of the brothers and sisters who participated in the camp, the work done by KRC can always be the best dedication to God and the most powerful service to people.
