Build a meaningful life this summer

The Spring Festival must have just passed when you received this issue of the magazine! I wish you a happy new year and may your cup be overflowing with blessings!

Recently, I accidentally read a heavyweight brainstorming book, which is a record of a conversation between two scholars on the Internet. One of them is a theist who believes in Christianity, and the other is a naturalist who believes that everything has a scientific answer. The naturalist is a famous punk rock band frontman with a PhD in evolutionary biology, and the theist is a prolific history professor and a fan of the punk rock band frontman; both are in their late 40s.

By chance, they started an intense and exciting online discussion via email for two years. During the dialogue, there were profound reflections on the universe, the emergence of human beings, morality, the practicality of religion, the existence of God, and the basis for Christian faith. It works and can explain many phenomena. However, gradually, when it comes to "what is the ultimate meaning," science has come to the conclusion that there is "no ultimate meaning" in the universe. The problem is that almost everyone in the world believes that their life has an ultimate meaning, and therefore everyone has a desire to understand the meaning of their life.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me." The psalmist also said, "You will show me the way of life." When science can no longer point out the meaning of life In the ultimate sense, God clearly tells us through his beloved Son Jesus that He loves us and is willing to guide our life path.

I often hear this:

"I live a mediocre life every day and don't know why I am living in this world. Does God really have a plan for me?"
"I really want to do more in the church or the community, but I can't think of what talents I have? What can I do?"
"I may have some talents and help out a little, but I always feel like I'm just doing odd jobs."
"My wife said I was dreaming, but it was completely unrealistic and unworkable."
“As a middle-aged person, I still don’t know what personal mission God has given me.”
"The company recently announced an early retirement plan, which semi-forces those of us who are not young, old, and have a good salary to consider early retirement."
"I will be retiring in a few years and am looking for more opportunities to serve."

What are your plans for this year? I believe that deep down in your soul, you are eager to live out the ultimate meaning that God placed in our hearts at the beginning of creation.

Here, I highly recommend you to attend the “Kingdom Resources for Christ” camp in Pennsylvania this summer, explore and develop your gifts and talents together, and share your service experience with friends from all over the world. This year, in addition to the well-received writing camp, art camp, drama camp and financial investment camp, there are also loving couple training camps, caring art workshops, dessert creative workshops, and peace messenger workshops that teach you to help others and resolve conflicts. . I can guarantee that this series of rich and colorful camps will bring your life to a higher, more beautiful, and richer place (please read page 77).
