Keys to Vibrant Spirituality and Service

[KRC Small Retreat and Alumni Reunion from March 8 to 10, 2012]

The second weekend of March every year is the KRC mini-retreat and alumni reunion. Time flies. From March 8th to 10th this year, the camp officially welcomed its thirteenth year! It is very rare to have Avril Vavrosky, an international missionary from the Overseas Mission for Christ (OMF) who has been missionary in Taiwan for many years, as a speaker. When we call the speaker "Ms. Li" in Chinese, it seems to bring us closer to each other!


The theme of this year's retreat is: "Keys to Vibrant Spirituality and Service." During the three-day and two-night mini camp, through Mrs. Li’s testimony and teachings, we were once again renewed by the Holy Spirit and agreed that life transformation requires commitment; we understood that seeking God’s will is an ongoing process. A mature life will ultimately fill you and your Father with joy.

1. "Someone is praying for you." Mrs. Li (standing on the far left) and participating pastors Mrs. Xu (Chen Meijin), Pastor Zhang Lingxi, etc., lay hands on the members in need and pray together.


2. In the past thirteen years, Mr. Su Wen’an, who lives in Los Angeles, has never missed a KRC class reunion held in Pennsylvania. This year, Teacher Su gave a lecture on Philemon, the shortest book in the Bible, with the theme of "Sent back to the original place". Taking Onesimus as an example, it led us to think deeply: escaping cannot solve problems. When life finds fragments or even collapses, only sincerity can Go back and make up for it, face it bravely, and stand up from where you fell, so that you can find a way out.

 

3. Mrs. Li emphasized: To serve effectively, you must first plug the gaps. Almost all interpersonal conflicts are related to pride. People tend to be proud if they want to see themselves as being in the right way. Only the anointing of the Holy Spirit can break this heavy yoke.

4-5. The group discusses the issues enthusiastically.

 

6. Administrative co-worker Christine (Sister Zhang Shaoqi) led everyone to start worshiping in spirit and truth to welcome a new day.

 

7. Liao Meihui, one of the editors of this magazine, introduced Pastor Su Wen'an's new book "Heaven with True Love and Home", which had a profound impact on her.

8. At the editorial meeting of "Kingdom of God" magazine, in addition to praying for each other and reviewing the issue, there was also an urgent discussion on the ongoing Egypt topic.
