Almost everyone is a friend who has overcome all odds to come to the "Kingdom of God" Literary Camp to study; some are from Taiwan, some are from California; some have wanted to come seven years ago, but when they arrived, something urgent happened and they had to rush home, but they still persisted. They participated in the whole course through video and completed the coursework; some of them booked air tickets at the last moment and decided to go; some came because they admired the name of Teacher Su Wen'an; and there were also colleagues of the "Christian Messengers Association" who used their spare time to carefully observe the courses and completed the missionary work afterwards. Work reports are full of new ideas.

The fields in late autumn announce a rich harvest; Heavenly Father's wonderful creation; the beautiful scenery of Paradise Town; the feeling of living in a painting every day... However, friends who are new to it still feel strange! Until two seven-seater cars traveled together, visited the Tabernacle, and went to a local restaurant to eat local Amish food, the whole day of interaction quickly brought the literary friends closer to each other.

In the evening, we will enjoy the movie "The Hundred-Foot Journey" (translation: "Michelin Love" or "No Limits to Deliciousness"), and the discussion topic on the second day: What writing principles can we learn from the movie? What associations does the film have about family, work, life, or faith? It stirred up many hearts. The biggest reminder among them is: to look at things around you from different perspectives and to return to the source of love to receive it. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us a spiritual heavenly home and many spiritual family members!

Using literature to make friends, from strangers to familiarity; from encouragement and promotion to care and intercession; from teacher Su Wen'an's video teaching, to be inspired and enlightened; from teacher Su's live broadcast of the graduation ceremony, accept the challenges of the future; from the leader Friends sincerely shared their writing experiences. After a group discussion in the evening, Sister Juying, a professional beautician, used facial muscle-stretching skills to do facials for several sisters, resulting in several more radiant beauties around her the next day! Co-workers Huiyuan and Kam selflessly helped Teacher Li prepare meals; these are all signs of God’s grace!

Companionship is the best gift in life; people face many different challenges in life, and what they need most is to meet different people to accompany them through it! May we all be the people around each other who truly care about each other!

During the four-day training course, there was a lot of laughter, the students’ humorous conversations, and sincere interactions warmed me, and it felt like home. During the focus time every morning, Teacher Lily used biblical truths to remind the students to know their own identities, to use Moses to receive the vision and take responsibility, to David's response to success - to concentrate on learning a humble heart, and to Joseph's success in success. Choosing to forgive and bless others at times inspires us to learn to be good soldiers of the Kingdom of God.

The writing course training, led by Teacher Su’s videos and the sincere and selfless sharing of writing experience by four “mentors”, was full of surprises. The students' wonderful and profound creations, unique thinking, and delicate observations touched the inner world and inspired me, who used to only write about the key points. I realized that articles must be flesh-and-blood in order to bring life to the words. At the same time, it stimulated my inner feelings. A passion for writing that has been dormant for a long time. Watching Teacher Su’s video teaching, even though it is the second time to return to the field, I still benefited a lot from taking the writing camp course again. No wonder one of them, Qiu Jianqin, has never missed the training in the writing camp for 14 years.

"You don't have to be very good to do it, but you have to do it to be very good." This is a famous saying quoted by Teacher Su from the happiness group movement, and I borrow it to motivate myself. Although there are still many challenges for me to write and write, I believe that practice makes perfect. It was this year that I came into contact with KRC. When I put the KRC magazine on the table, Mr. One day asked me: "The things written in this magazine are very in-depth. Where is it produced? It is rare to see such in-depth writing in Christian magazines." I took the opportunity to ask him, There is a literary camp in Pennsylvania in mid-November, and I would like to go and see it. With his enthusiastic support, I embarked on this different journey in my life.

Through the wonderful videos of Teacher Su’s lectures and the delicate responses of each on-site instructor, I have learned a lot about writing skills, including how to cut in, how to turn, how to word words, and how to capture the delicate feeling. explanation and instruction. I think writing is an attitude towards life. What you think and feel can be presented from different angles and ways. Everyone can be a storyteller, but how to tell it interestingly and coherently is an exercise in writing skills.

When I visited Pennsylvania for the first time, I was shocked by the winter scenery of this paradise town. No matter where I went or what I saw, the scenery was completely different from what I had seen before. My tactile nerves are all feeling God's work in this piece of nature. I feel the sunshine and the color of the earth every minute, and I feel very comfortable physically and mentally.

On the other hand, I also really like to share with everyone, whether it’s watching videos or reading responses to articles, or even games that connect sentences to stories to stimulate literary thought. It's a pity that maybe it's because of the shy nature of Chinese people that they can't express their own couplets or brainstorm, otherwise the soul would be more satisfied.

Writing is a lonely road. How wonderful it would be to have a companion along the way! I majored in choral conducting, and I especially like choral music because choral singing is a kind of support. When two voices (or more) appear, the sound reaches a balance and the power of supporting each other makes it sound good. During the camp, I also received recognition and encouragement from many brothers, sisters and mentors. Having flown across half of the world to come here, I have had wonderful encounters with people and scenery, which have inspired me to have different feelings and perspectives, and I am grateful for all of this.

Movement 4: Observe and experience with ease

This is my second time participating in "Leap of Heart and Pen". Ten years ago, Mr. Su Wen'an himself taught at "Hope Farm" in the suburbs of Houston. Some of his classmates were interested in writing and some were equipped for service. I belonged to the latter group. This year, Teacher Su is in retreat and will not teach in person during the sabbatical year. God gave me a special gift. I went to the Pennsylvania Messenger Farm to participate in the new version of the KRC video "Leap of Heart and Pen". In addition to reviewing and re-study, I also gave myself a ten-year evaluation.

From Teacher Su's "Leap of Heart and Pen" class, I learned to release my senses to observe, appreciate and taste people and things, and my mind gained unprecedented freedom. Didn’t Paul repeatedly emphasize being a free man in Christ in Galatians? When my pen catches up with my heart, I feel the beauty of "everything tells me that God is love."

My expectations after the camp, practicing "Qi Mei" will start with a simple and regular life every day. May God give me strength, and my pen will be able to fly freely.

I believe that when I meet a song, a book, a movie, or even a person, it has a very special meaning. At a specific moment, with a specific mood, we met, and the moment our thoughts collided, our hearts beat.

Just like this writing camp, when I came, I was no longer the same. It seems that I have been waiting for its appearance a long time ago, and I have longed for it for a long time. What words would you use to describe your mood at that time? The first thing that pops into my mind is "rain from heaven"! Words have a magical power for me. I often feel its huge power and feel awe in my heart. I also envy people who can control words. They use words to bring happiness, warmth and comfort to people, and at the same time, they also make people feel sadness and sorrow. , pain, etc.

I made a lot of friends in the writing camp, and we all felt like old friends at the first sight. Care and encouragement seemed to pour down from the open windows in the sky, making my cup overflowing with blessings. The literati have the same love and hate for words, the desire to learn and grow, the perception and understanding of watching movies, the optimism and openness of life, the exploration of innovative adventures, and the perseverance in the Kingdom of God. We always have endless things to say and endless jokes to make.

On the afternoon of the second day of the literary camp, we went to visit the Tabernacle, a one-to-one scale replica of the place where the Israelites worshiped God at that time. In ancient times, priests had to add oil to the lamps every day to ensure that the lights would not go out. In the flickering candlelight, I seem to see the responsibility of our literary workers and the need for the inheritance of the Kingdom of God. Words are our lamps and need to be constantly added with new oil. I hope that young brothers and sisters can also join in. In our team, with the help and leadership of our seniors, a raging fire was ignited to illuminate the people of the Kingdom of God.

"The Leap of Heart and Pen" is a warm text camp. I not only participated in the literary camp, but also joined a fellowship and met several talented and caring brothers and sisters. There, I learned the "Qi-Mei Movement" and the "Ten Tips for Writing."

I have been growing up in a very serious spiritual environment. Every time I attend a conference, I hear profound spiritual truths. But in this text camp, I felt very relaxed, chatting naturally, encouraging each other, and becoming more friendly; there was no serious spiritual atmosphere, but it brought out a deep and sincere sense of spiritual mission. It made me respond to God’s call from the bottom of my heart, and I am willing to uphold the attitude of “workers come before work, authors come before works, and sincerity comes before everything else.” I commit myself to becoming a special force and lifelong participant in the written media ministry!
