On the last day of November 2013, the originally worrisome weather unexpectedly cleared up early in the morning, and the sun overflowed and was full of grace.

Diverse families vs. family ethics

The people of Baodao launched a huge counterattack

During the "1130 People's Journey to Kaifa" sit-in hosted by the "Next Generation Happiness Alliance", men, women and children continued to pour in. On their chests, arms, backs, and even their fingertips, they had the words "Save Wife and Children: Oppose Civil Law Amendment" printed on them. 972 insists on the marriage of one man, one woman, one man and one woman", "Oppose: Same-sex marriage, legalization of diverse families", "Protect our next generation", "Made by Daddy + Mommy" and other clear and eye-catching slogans, billboards and flags, they may Posted, waving, or swaying, they are connected together, starting from the central area of the stage with Ketagalan Avenue (Kaidao) as the main axis, and winding to the parallel branches of Zhongshan South Road, Zhongxiao East Road, Renai Road, and Xinyi Road On the main road, a huge wave of people came from all over Taiwan to "praise for the happiness of the next generation". On this day, they danced an unexpectedly dazzling wave of protest!

In this rally, Christians and non-Christians, regardless of age, ethnic group, or political party, all wore white masks and took them off together, which meant that everyone no longer contented themselves with silence, but chose to sit side by side. Quietly and peacefully use your body to praise (stand) for the happiness of the next generation. What we are facing at this moment is that once Civil Code 972 and the "Same-sex Marriage Law" or the "Plural Family Bill" that amends relevant laws are passed, Taiwan will soon be labeled as "Asia's first country to legalize same-sex marriage." Crisis; in addition, family ethics are facing new norms and combinations, which is another worrying threat and impact.

A video played publicly on You Tube "Is the sexual liberation storm about to hit Taiwan?" "1, edited from the video record of the gay group parade on October 26, 2013. The film is full of demands for "sexual liberation," "sexual proliferation," "sexual confusion," and "sexual depravity." The warning message revealed by the parade of gay groups inspired a group of insightful people to work tirelessly and urgently to visit influential people in the political, film and religious circles across Taiwan to prepare for the "National Path to Heaven". In just one month, Here, the impossible became possible. On 1130, crowds rushed in from Taipei and neighboring towns like huge waves. Seven hundred buses also arrived from distant counties and cities. The silent crowd gathered in Kaidao, creating a spectacle and gaining momentum. The voice of justice awaits!

Homosexuals ≠ gay movement groups

63% support marriage between a man and a woman

Anyone who raises anti-diversity opinions on the Internet or in life is easily the target of criticism, and is inexplicably denounced as homophobic. The destructive power of such a beast is frightening. Fortunately, the "Taiwan Family Protection Alliance", which was established on behalf of this anti-diversity civil law amendment bill, has not only launched a signature campaign to oppose the bill since September 18, 20132 (100,000 people signed it within two weeks of its release) , and even stated through the media: "'Respect gays, oppose gay movement' - gay people ≠ gay movement groups" 3, which is a public declaration: people participating in the gay movement are not necessarily gay, and the public should not underestimate it. Among them were sexual liberation activists.

Ms. Lei Qian, a former legislator, led the whole conference. She immediately broke the topic at the beginning: "I believe that everyone around us has friends with homosexual tendencies like me, and we all respect, care and love them equally; but this This is a decision that has to be made, because we firmly oppose the government, political parties, and politicians to change Taiwan's marriage and family system without consensus." The topic changed, "Some people think that opposing diverse families is discrimination. Or slandering homosexuals! I want to make it very clear that plural families represent sexual liberation, not homosexuality. Homosexuality does not mean sexual liberation!”

Lei Qian also specifically mentioned that a report commissioned by the China 21st Century Think Tank and conducted by the United Daily News Poll Center in October 2013 found that 63% people believed that "marriage is between a man and a woman" and supported same-sex marriage. Only 33.2% people accounted for this. This figure shows that the public still tends to support monogamous marriage; when asked about the "duty of sexual fidelity" in marriage, 95% people believed that "having sex with someone other than their husband/wife" , is wrong"; another question "Do you think it is fair for children to be raised by gay parents?", 60% thought it was unfair and 24% thought it was fair, but only 5% thought it was "very fair" and 19% thought it was fair. "It's fair" - she therefore shouted loudly: "The attitudes of most people in Taiwan on these issues are very clear. Please give the next generation a safe, healthy and stable space to grow, a fair opportunity to grow, and a warm family. !”

Hear the cry of 300,000 people

Working hard to register a referendum requires 900,000 signatures

Just as a grandmother on the stage said excitedly: "When the family and husband and wife are healthy, our society will be healthy and the country will be healthy!" A father of a three-year-old child declared: "As the head of the family, I am very worried about the current situation of education. , but I insist on giving my children the best life and do my best to protect my family. Let’s work together!”

A female college student said emotionally: "I come from a single-parent family. I have never known what a complete family feels like since I was a child, but I long for a happy home with a father and a mother, a healthy and loving home. Diversity If the Family Start-up Act is passed, it will cause the fragmentation and instability of many families, so today I will stand up and resolutely oppose it! "The relationship between one man and one woman, one man and one woman, is the grace and grace that allows human beings to reproduce and continue from generation to generation. Blessing is the family foundation and plan that God revealed to us at the beginning of creation.

The rally started at 2 p.m., and when it came to an end at nearly 4 p.m., cheers came from the rally that the number of signatories reached 555,689. At that time, the number of people gathered exceeded 300,000! As of this writing, in just over twenty days after the 1130 gathering, the number of signatures shown on Taiwan’s official website for Defending Families has exceeded 600,000. A protective force against diverse families is still brewing, thriving, and growing! During and after the meeting, students, parents, education circles, legal and political figures, film and television professionals, and 18 legislators attended and publicly expressed their opinions. In addition to expressing their support and ideas, we also admire their courage to "like" them. like.

From this spiritual battle, we clearly see:“We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places!” (Ephesians 6:12)When we choose to take to the streets to stand up for the happiness of the next generation, we may be surrounded by non-Christians or even gays, but we happily follow the footsteps of the Lord Jesus."Proclamation: The captives will be set free, the blind will receive sight, and the oppressed will be freed." (Luke 4:18)From the opening, process to the end, when we witnessed the incredibly successful conclusion of a calm, peaceful and orderly large gathering, the warm sunshine throughout the day seemed to say to us: "All things work together for the fear of God." People will benefit, give Him praise and glory!”

Note
1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_SyqtFKsyk The dirty words, obscene slogans, and unsightly behavior documented in this film have shocked, saddened, and worried nearly 600,000 viewers.
2. https://taiwanfamily.com/Taiwan Family Protection website has more than 650,000 signatures on New Year's Day in 2014, and is on track to reach the target of 900,000 people who voted for the referendum.
3. In Asia, Taiwan has the most prosperous gay movement, and the government also adopts a supportive attitude. The gay movement has always been packaged as fighting for equal rights, but in fact gay activists are not necessarily equivalent to homosexuals. There are many heterosexual sexual liberation activists involved. These sexual liberation activists have publicly fought for "sexual rights" through gay parades over the years and demanded the opening up of "young people's sexual autonomy." The 2013 Gay Pride Parade made more public demands for the legal use of recreational drugs and for society to accept sexual abuse and sex workers. These demands aroused a lot of opposition even in the gay circle. Therefore, opposing the gay movement is not the same as being hostile to homosexuals. We should be tolerant and caring for people with homosexual tendencies, but we must firmly resist the wave of the gay movement.
