Horses grazed with heads lowered on the farms. Simple farmhouses and nearby barns dotted the landscape, and every so often, I would see a black Amish buggy slowly passing by on the road...

This pastoral scenery made it clear that this was a town rich with rural charm. These beautiful sights captured my gaze, and the changing light from morning to evening revealed many facets of the landscape’s beauty. The crispness of dawn and the richness of dusk made it hard for me to pull myself away.

In the early morning, the sunlight slowly rises, casting a gentle glow over the distant farmhouses and tall trees, revealing their fresh and graceful beauty. The air is sharply cold, and though sunlight filters through it, trying to scoop up a handful of warmth leaves only emptiness in your palm.

On another morning, a light mist hangs in the air, wisps of fog curling like a mysterious song being sung.

At sunset, the entire scene deepens in tone, as if the sun is reluctantly leaving behind its final trace of warmth for the day.

And on an afternoon without sunlight, the natural hues are like a pure and lovely young girl, sharing her truest face with others.

Watching these shifting scenes of color—at times vibrant, at times sweet, at times rich and full of emotion—I’m reminded that God is the greatest artist of all. Sometimes God paints them bright—clear skies and gentle breezes. Other times, He colors them dark—stormy winds and heavy rain. Yet every condition is a shade of life, each one a part of God's masterful craftsmanship.

It is through the deep conversations within the soul that such a work becomes truly alive.

Each person is God’s most outstanding masterpiece, and because of the hope we carry, we can live out the most beautiful scenery on earth.

Because I signed up for the KRC Writing Camp on the East Coast of the U.S., I visited the town of Paradise, Pennsylvania, for the first time.

[287
289
post-10654","article","type-article","status-publish","hentry","issue-krc-online-only","section--bay-of-inspirations
["GET
