What is in Your Hand?

Open your hands, what do you have?

Nothing?

What can you do with empty hands?

This may be what the disciples were thinking when they looked at their empty hands when they heard Jesus say, "Give them something to eat" in front of the crowds sitting on the slope!
What happened next was the miracle of five loaves and two fishes recorded in the four gospels - the disciples reluctantly found a little bit of food and handed it to the Master with hesitation; Jesus broke it and gave it to the disciples, who then passed it on to others. In a series of actions, the 12 people watched many people being satisfied, and there were still 12 baskets left.

This happens all the time in the kingdom of God. A family with no heirs becomes a big family; a little oil that bottoms out fills many bottles and jars; the call in a dream leads to prayer by the river, and the gospel enters a new territory. When people put a little bit of their resources into God’s hands, God will achieve riches and bless everyone.

This issue of the housekeeping unit "Being at peace with the years and moving forward" reviews the preparation of finances, health, marriage, and spiritual life for retirement, so that the golden autumn years can become the capital of blessing people. The family unit "The Connection in Him" describes the care for young international students and connects KRC with the blessings of the country. The Neighborhood Unit reports on two types of outreach: face-to-face food sharing; and online training on AI + leadership. The methods are different, the platforms are different, but the original intention is the same - to let more people benefit from the gospel.

These authors and interviewees all used their faith and courage to hand over their seemingly little experience, enthusiasm, and expertise to God. They received abundance from the hands that created heaven and earth, and then worked with others to deliver blessings. This is the theme of KRC2024—

God connects me in many ways and produces many good results.

The focus articles in this issue are "Funding, Assistance, Cooperation" and "Small Loan, Big Help", which explore different forms of charity relief. We hope that you and I can use the resources at hand to help others with a kind, loyal and knowledgeable stewardship mentality. Help the poor, build lives, and seek sustainable operations to create lasting and far-reaching impacts.

Since its inception in 2005, "Kingdom of God" hopes to challenge readers to observe the kingdom, think about the times, and make forward-looking and breakthrough responses with confidence and courage through the discussion of each article and the report of each ministry and person. Due to changes in readers' age groups and reading habits, the paper magazine will be reduced to three issues starting in 2024, but new articles will be published in the online magazine from time to time, and audio-visual multimedia is also being produced. Such a bold attempt posed a huge challenge to a team with limited manpower and experience.

The ministry goals of Project Arctos, the English department of KRC: Commune, Create, Connect, is the driving force that supports us to move forward.

No matter what you have in your hands, be eager to grab the resources and connect with things; stretch your arms to connect with each other; raise your hands to the sky to connect with God. While experiencing abundance, also abundantly
Bless many people.
